Everything Affiliates Need to Know Before and After Joining

This FAQ explains the practical side of the Ensolanka Global Ambassador Affiliate Program: who can join, how referrals are tracked, how commissions are calculated, how the dashboard works, and how to use marketing tools responsibly.

1. General Program Questions

Basic questions about joining and participating in the affiliate program.

It is Ensolanka’s affiliate partner program for individuals who want to promote the Live in Sri Lanka lifestyle opportunity to suitable international guests and earn commission from qualifying referrals. Affiliates are recognized within the program as Ensolanka Global Ambassadors.

The program is open to people from around the world who can genuinely and responsibly introduce Sri Lanka living opportunities to suitable audiences. This may include:
  • Sri Lankans living, working, or studying overseas
  • Travellers who love Sri Lanka
  • Digital creators and community builders
  • Digital nomads and remote professionals
  • Students and professionals with global networks
  • Anyone who wants to promote Sri Lanka with pride while earning through referrals

The affiliate signup flow is designed to let interested users apply or register for the program and access the affiliate ecosystem once approved or activated according to Ensolanka’s current process. Any future program fee, eligibility rule, or access condition would be clearly communicated by Ensolanka.

No. “Ensolanka Global Ambassador” is a program title for approved affiliates. Affiliates are independent promotional partners and cannot sign contracts, collect payments, make binding promises, or act as legal representatives of Ensolanka unless separately authorized in writing.

2. Affiliate Links, QR Codes & Tracking

How referral attribution works online and offline.

Your dashboard provides a unique affiliate link connected to your affiliate code. When a prospective guest opens that link and later signs up successfully, the system can attribute that guest to your affiliate account.

When a potential guest visits through your affiliate tracking link or QR code, the browser may save your referral code for up to 30 days. If that guest signs up during the valid tracking period, the referral may be recorded under your account.
Tracking can be affected by cleared cookies, incognito browsing, privacy extensions, switching devices, or other browser-related limitations.

Yes. The affiliate dashboard is designed to let you create QR-linked promotional materials for available affiliate landing pages. These may include pages related to:
  • Live in Sri Lanka home or guest signup
  • Packages
  • Digital Nomad Visa information
  • Rental opportunities
  • Dating services
  • Local assistants and related lifestyle services

Yes. A QR code generated from your affiliate dashboard embeds your unique affiliate tracking route. When someone scans it and visits the selected landing page, the system can apply your referral attribution in the same way as a normal affiliate link.

3. Referral Status and Dashboard Visibility

Understanding pending guests, confirmed clients, and completed clients.

The guest can appear in your dashboard as a referred guest or pending referral, provided the signup was properly connected to your tracking code. Your dashboard may show details such as guest name, country, contact information, selected package interest, possible commission, and current referral status.

A pending referral is a guest who has signed up through your affiliate pathway but has not yet completed the guest confirmation fee payment. The dashboard allows you to monitor these referrals and follow up responsibly where appropriate.

A confirmed client is a referred guest who has paid the USD 100 Guest Confirmation Fee. At this stage, the affiliate earns the confirmation-fee commission, currently calculated as 20% = USD 20.

A paid or completed client is a referred guest who progresses further in the Ensolanka process and pays the applicable one-time service fee connected to the chosen lifestyle package. This triggers the larger service-fee affiliate commission.

Yes, where the dashboard provides guest contact details, you may use them to offer helpful, respectful follow-up related to the Live in Sri Lanka opportunity. The purpose is to guide—not pressure—the guest.
Guest contact details must not be sold, shared, misused, or used for unrelated promotions. If a guest asks not to be contacted further, that request should be respected.

4. Commission Earnings and Payouts

How the earning model works and when commissions become available.

When a properly referred guest pays the USD 100 Confirmation Fee, the current affiliate commission is:
20% of USD 100 = USD 20 affiliate commission

The service-fee commission depends on the guest’s selected package. The current commission rate is 20% of the one-time service fee.
Package Monthly Package One-Time Service Fee Your Commission
Startup USD 500 USD 450 USD 90
Comfort USD 1,000 USD 750 USD 150
Premium USD 2,000 USD 1,000 USD 200
Luxury USD 3,000 USD 1,200 USD 240

Combining the confirmation-fee commission and service-fee commission, the current total possible earning per fully qualifying guest is:
Package Confirmation Commission Service Fee Commission Total Possible Earning
Startup USD 20 USD 90 USD 110
Comfort USD 20 USD 150 USD 170
Premium USD 20 USD 200 USD 220
Luxury USD 20 USD 240 USD 260

Your dashboard may show four financial categories:
  • Possible Future Earnings: projected potential based on referred guests and package interests.
  • Pending Commission: commission waiting for required payment confirmation or review.
  • Earned Commission: commission generated after a qualifying payment has been completed and recognized.
  • Available Balance: the amount currently available for payout request according to Ensolanka’s payout logic.

You can submit a payout request through the Request Payout panel in your affiliate dashboard by entering the amount you wish to withdraw in USD. Payouts are subject to admin review, payment verification, and the availability of eligible balance.

No. Affiliate earnings are not guaranteed. Actual income depends on referral quality, successful tracking, guest signup, guest package selection, guest payments, payment completion, payout approval, and ongoing compliance with program rules.

  • A QR code linked to the selected affiliate tracking page

Yes. The system is intended to provide downloadable business card assets that you can print and use for face-to-face networking, travel events, community introductions, coworking spaces, and other appropriate promotional situations.

Yes. Ensolanka plans to support affiliates through online training sessions focused on increasing promotional effectiveness and income potential. The program also includes the vision for networking events and felicitation or award ceremonies in selected countries each year, subject to program planning and event availability.

7. Responsible Promotion and Program Ethics

How to promote the opportunity with dignity and trust.

The program encourages a helper mindset, not an aggressive sales mindset. Successful ambassadors listen to people’s needs, explain Sri Lanka’s opportunities honestly, and guide interested prospects using accurate information and official materials.

No. Affiliates must not promise guaranteed earnings, guaranteed approvals, guaranteed relocation outcomes, guaranteed visas, guaranteed relationships, or any result not expressly confirmed by Ensolanka.

No. The program is built around ethical and sincere promotion. Affiliates should not use spam, irrelevant bulk messaging, deceptive link drops, or communication that damages the Ensolanka brand.

Yes, where appropriate or required by applicable law, platform rules, or advertising standards, affiliates should clearly state that they may receive a commission from qualifying referrals. A simple example is:
“I may earn a commission if you proceed through my referral link.”

Ensolanka may review, restrict, suspend, or terminate affiliate participation where there is misuse of referral tracking, fraudulent activity, unethical promotion, guest privacy violations, false claims, or conduct that harms the program or brand.
