5. Referral Tracking and Browser Storage

The affiliate program uses referral tracking to connect a prospective guest’s website visit with the affiliate who introduced them. When a visitor lands on the website through an affiliate link or QR code, the system may store the relevant referral code in the visitor’s browser for up to:

30 days

If the visitor signs up during that valid period and the referral is technically recorded, the signup may be attributed to the relevant affiliate account.

Referral tracking may be affected by:

  • Clearing cookies or browser storage
  • Private or incognito browsing
  • Browser privacy restrictions
  • Ad blockers or anti-tracking tools
  • Switching browsers or devices
  • Technical interruptions outside reasonable platform control
Important: A separate Cookie Policy should explain the website’s storage technologies in more detail, including whether consent tools are used for non-essential cookies or similar browser-based technologies.

6. Referred Guest Information Visible to Affiliates

When a guest signs up through a valid affiliate referral pathway, the affiliate dashboard may display selected information about that referred guest so the affiliate can understand referral progress and provide reasonable, respectful follow-up support.

Depending on the platform configuration, this may include:

  • Guest name
  • Country
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Selected package interest, where available
  • Possible commission value
  • Referral status such as signed up, confirmed, or paid/completed
Affiliate Use Limitation: Affiliates must use referred guest contact details only for legitimate affiliate follow-up connected to the Live in Sri Lanka program. Guest information must not be sold, rented, shared with unrelated third parties, or used for unrelated marketing.

7. Business Cards, QR Codes, and Personalized Promotional Materials

The affiliate dashboard may allow affiliates to create personalized business cards and QR-linked promotional assets. Such materials may include:

  • Affiliate name
  • Phone or WhatsApp number
  • Email address
  • Program title: Ensolanka Global Ambassador
  • Selected promotional landing page
  • Affiliate QR code and referral code

Information selected by the affiliate for a business card or customized promotional document may appear in the generated file and may be downloaded, stored, or printed by the affiliate.

Affiliates are responsible for choosing which personal contact details they want displayed in promotional materials generated through the platform.

8. Marketing Resources and Custom Material Requests

The program may provide general marketing resources and allow affiliates to request customized brochures, presentations, summaries, or related promotional files with their own referral link, QR code, and contact details.

We may process:

  • Requested language selections
  • Requested content formats
  • Affiliate identity and contact details needed for customization
  • Referral URL and QR code placement requirements
  • Status of the customization request
  • Administrative responses or delivery notes

The dashboard may display pending custom requests, request status, response notes, and any completed personalized resources made available to the affiliate.

9. Commission, Wallet, and Payout Information

To operate the affiliate earning system, Ensolanka may maintain records of:

  • Possible future earnings
  • Pending commission totals
  • Earned commission totals
  • Available payout balance
  • Payout request amounts and dates
  • Payout review status
  • Bank or payout details where required to process payments
  • Administrative verification notes where necessary

Payout information is used to verify commission eligibility, process approved withdrawals, maintain transaction records, and prevent fraud or payment misuse.

  • Affiliates, but only with respect to the referred guest details made visible in their own dashboard for valid program purposes
  • Authorities, regulators, legal advisers, or law enforcement where disclosure is required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, legal interests, or program integrity
Any sharing of referred guest details with affiliates should remain limited to the referral-support purpose described in this policy and the affiliate Terms & Conditions.

We may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Operate affiliate accounts
  • Track referral history and commission eligibility
  • Maintain payout and financial records
  • Respond to support requests

The exact retention period may vary depending on the type of information, the reason it was collected, and any continuing legal or operational requirement.

Users from certain jurisdictions may have additional privacy rights under local laws. Ensolanka may respond to such requests in accordance with applicable requirements.

15. Children’s Privacy

The affiliate program is not intended for children to participate independently. Ensolanka does not knowingly seek to collect affiliate account information from children in violation of applicable law.

If we learn that personal information has been submitted by a child where such collection is not legally permitted, we may take steps to remove or restrict the information as appropriate.
