This policy explains how dating app fees, payments, refund requests, failed payments, duplicate payments, and service-related cancellations are handled.
This Refund & Payment Policy applies to the Ensolanka Dating platform and explains how payments made by Local Dating Partners are handled.
The platform allows Sri Lankan Local Dating Partners to create profile listings, receive interest from international Guests, express interest in Guest profiles, proceed through a Mutual Interest process, and request dating-event facilitation where the required conditions are satisfied.
By making a payment through the dating app, you agree to the terms described in this Policy, together with the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and any payment instructions shown at checkout or in the Payment Center.
The fees above reflect the current Local Dating Partner program structure. Ensolanka may update fees, add new payable features, provide promotions, or revise service pricing in the future. The amount displayed on the platform at the time of payment will apply to that payment.
Local Dating Partners do not need to pay to:
Free profile listing does not guarantee approval, public visibility, Guest interest, Mutual Interest, a dating arrangement, or any relationship outcome.
The Featured Profile fee is an optional payment that may provide increased credibility, better visibility, improved presentation in the Local Dating Partner list, and access to view certain private Guest profiles, subject to platform permissions.
The Featured Profile fee is paid for the activation or provision of the featured visibility benefit available at that time. It is not a payment for a guaranteed Guest message, guaranteed match, guaranteed date, or guaranteed relationship.
Payment of the Featured Profile fee does not guarantee:
The Profile Confirmation Fee is a one-time payment that supports the confirmed dating-partner stage of the process. It becomes relevant where a Local Dating Partner wants to proceed with eligible Mutual Interest cases, contact-detail unlocking, and Ensolanka-supported dating-event arrangements, subject to the applicable conditions.
The current Profile Confirmation Fee is USD 50. It is a one-time fee and is not charged separately for every Guest or every dating event.
Subject to platform rules and operational feasibility, the Confirmation Fee may support:
Payment of the Confirmation Fee does not remove other requirements. A dating arrangement or contact-access process may still depend on:
The Dating Partner Dashboard may provide a Payment Center where Local Dating Partners can review:
A payment is treated as complete only after the relevant payment gateway, transaction process, or platform payment status confirms successful completion.
Ensolanka aims to handle refund requests fairly, transparently, and in line with the actual status of the paid feature or service.

Ensolanka may consider a refund, partial refund, reversal, or account credit in circumstances such as:
Ensolanka may request payment references, transaction screenshots, bank or gateway notices, date and time of payment, account email, and any other information necessary to review the matter.
Unless Ensolanka decides otherwise in a particular case, the following are generally non-refundable:
A Guest or Local Dating Partner may decide not to proceed with a planned meeting. Such personal cancellation does not automatically create a refund right for the Profile Confirmation Fee, because the Confirmation Fee is a one-time platform confirmation fee rather than a per-date ticket.
Where appropriate and operationally possible, Ensolanka may help reschedule a proposed dating event if both parties remain interested and the circumstances allow it.
If Ensolanka determines that a specific dating arrangement cannot proceed due to safety, availability, scheduling, travel-confirmation, or operational reasons, Ensolanka may, depending on the circumstances, offer alternative coordination, postponement, or another reasonable solution. This does not necessarily mean that the underlying one-time Confirmation Fee becomes refundable.
If a Dating Host, venue, transportation service, or another third-party arrangement involves a separate fee, any refund related to that separate component may depend on the specific service status, booking terms, and cancellation timing presented for that service.
If a payment fails, is declined, or is not confirmed by the payment gateway, the related feature or confirmation status may not be activated.
If a transaction appears pending, Ensolanka may wait for the payment gateway or banking partner to confirm whether the payment was successful, failed, or reversed.
If you believe you were charged twice for the same payment item, contact Ensolanka promptly with transaction evidence. Verified duplicate payments may be refunded, reversed, or credited after review.
If the system charges an incorrect amount because of a confirmed platform or payment error, Ensolanka may correct the record and consider refunding or adjusting the difference, as appropriate.
If you believe there is a genuine payment problem, you should first contact Ensolanka through the official contact channel so that the issue can be reviewed.
Raising an external chargeback, bank dispute, or payment reversal while retaining an activated paid feature or confirmed platform benefit may result in temporary account review, restriction of the associated feature, or suspension of the related payment-dependent access until the matter is resolved.
Payment processors and banking providers may have their own dispute, refund, and reversal procedures. Ensolanka will cooperate reasonably where transaction evidence or merchant clarification is required.
