Free Signup

You can create a Local Service Partner account and submit your profile without paying a registration fee.

Visibility Option

The optional featured profile fee can help improve visibility, but it does not guarantee employment.

Interview Process

Suitable partners may be invited for an interview involving the Guest and Ensolanka representatives.

Payment Flow

Guest salary payables may be handled through the Ensolanka payment center for transparency and tracking.

01

Registration & Profile

Questions about joining, eligibility, and profile approval.

Individuals in Sri Lanka who are interested in working with international guests may register, provided they submit truthful information and are willing to follow Ensolanka’s professional, review, and appointment procedures.

Yes. Standard signup and initial profile creation are currently free. Optional paid services, such as featured profile visibility, are separate.

Your profile may include your service category, skills, experience, city or district, education, languages spoken, availability, willingness to relocate or work live-in, license or passport readiness where relevant, and a suitable professional profile image.

Not necessarily. Ensolanka may review submitted profiles before making them visible to Guests. A profile may remain pending until it satisfies the platform’s review standards.
03

Guest Interest & Interviews

Questions about how foreign Guests identify and evaluate suitable partners.

Approved Service Partner profiles may become visible to relevant international Guests browsing the portal for local assistance in Sri Lanka.

Guest interest does not automatically create a job offer. Ensolanka may review the interest, confirm the Guest’s need, and notify suitable Service Partners when the process is ready to proceed toward an interview or next step.

The interview may include the Guest, the Service Partner, and one or more Ensolanka staff members. Ensolanka may participate to support a professional, transparent, and suitable selection process.

Possible roles may include:
  • Driver
  • Translator
  • Housekeeper
  • Security Guard
  • Personal Assistant
  • Caregiver or Nurse
  • Helper or General Assistant
  • Other locally needed support roles
04

Appointment & Salary Process

Questions about formal selection, salary agreements, and payment handling.

If the Guest selects you and the role, salary, benefits, and working conditions are agreed, Ensolanka may process the appointment through its Human Resource department or authorized team on behalf of the Guest.

The salary is agreed based on the role, experience, language ability, working hours, guest requirements, benefits, and other relevant factors. Final terms are confirmed during or after the selection process.

Once the appointment is confirmed, the agreed salary and allowances may be created as payment items in the Guest Payment Center. The Guest is expected to settle the amount by the stated due date. Ensolanka then handles the related payment flow and releases the Service Partner’s eligible salary after completion of the relevant service period, subject to applicable rules and adjustments.

This process is designed to protect both the Guest and the Service Partner. It creates clearer records, supports payroll coordination, helps reduce payment disputes, and provides a more professional structure than informal cash arrangements.
05

Language & Training Support

Questions about English proficiency and preparation support.

Strong English is an advantage, especially because most opportunities involve international Guests. However, a person who does not yet have strong English may still register if they are sincere, reliable, and willing to improve.

Ensolanka may facilitate learning and preparation sessions in areas such as English communication, guest etiquette, cultural awareness, professional behavior, interview readiness, and service quality improvement.

No. Training may improve readiness and professionalism, but it does not guarantee Guest selection, appointment, or income.
06

Probation & Performance

Questions about review periods, feedback, and continuation decisions.

Unless a different period is stated in appointment documentation, an initial probationary period of up to six months may apply to appointed Service Partners.

Ensolanka may receive comments from the Guest about reliability, punctuality, communication, service quality, honesty, and suitability for the role. Those observations may support decisions on continuation, guidance, or further review.

Yes. Based on performance, conduct, suitability, Guest feedback, appointment terms, and applicable HR procedures, Ensolanka may take appropriate decisions regarding continuation, warning, additional training, reassignment review, or discontinuation where relevant.
07

Safety, Conduct & Support

Questions about respectful behavior, reporting issues, and help from Ensolanka.

Service Partners are expected to act honestly, respectfully, punctually, and professionally. They must protect Guest privacy, follow agreed duties, communicate responsibly, and avoid misconduct, deception, abuse, or unauthorized financial arrangements.

You should promptly notify Ensolanka if you face harassment, unsafe conditions, improper role changes, payment-related concerns, discriminatory treatment, threats, or any serious dispute that requires review.

Yes. You may use the Contact Us page to ask questions about eligibility, service categories, profile creation, visibility options, or the general process before registering.
Please note: This FAQ provides general guidance for the Hired in Sri Lanka platform. Specific appointment details, salary terms, duties, probation arrangements, and payment-related procedures will depend on the final written communication or appointment documentation issued for the relevant opportunity.
