1. Introduction
Host in Sri Lanka is an Ensolanka platform created to connect guests with Sri Lankan
Hosting Partners, venues, restaurants, hotels, villas, rooftops, gardens, event spaces,
and related service providers for romantic dates, proposal events, anniversaries,
birthdays, honeymoon experiences, private dinners, and celebration arrangements.
By using the platform, registering as a Hosting Partner, browsing listings,
submitting a booking request, making a payment, or participating in an event arrangement,
you acknowledge and accept this Disclaimer.
3. Ensolanka Is Not the Owner of Listed Venues
Unless clearly stated in writing, Ensolanka is not the owner, tenant, operator,
manager, or license holder of the venues displayed on the platform.
Listed venues are generally owned, managed, or operated by independent Hosting Partners.
Such Hosts remain responsible for their own premises, staff, services, safety,
operations, licenses, food, guest handling, and event delivery.
4. Hosting Partner Responsibility
Hosting Partners are responsible for the accuracy and quality of the information,
images, pricing, inclusions, exclusions, availability, venue conditions, event packages,
meal plans, and add-on services they provide.
Hosts are responsible for:
- Maintaining a safe and suitable venue
- Providing accurate listing and pricing details
- Complying with applicable laws and licenses
- Delivering confirmed services
- Managing venue staff and guest handling
- Food safety and hygiene
- Decoration, setup, and service quality
- Third-party providers arranged by or through the Host
- Respecting guest privacy and dignity
Ensolanka may review and moderate listings, but such review does not remove the Host’s
responsibility for accuracy, safety, legality, and service delivery.
5. Guest Responsibility
Guests are responsible for reading package details, asking questions before confirmation,
providing accurate event information, respecting venue rules, attending on time,
paying required amounts, and behaving lawfully and respectfully.
Guests are also responsible for the conduct of any person they bring to the event.
Venue damage, misconduct, late arrival, overtime, extra guests, or additional requests
may lead to extra charges or cancellation of services.
6. No Guarantee of Results
Ensolanka does not guarantee that use of the platform will result in any specific outcome.
We do not guarantee:
- Guest inquiries for every Host
- Confirmed bookings for every listing
- Specific revenue for Hosts
- Availability of any specific venue or date
- Exact match between expectations and real-world experience
- Perfect guest satisfaction
- Perfect Host performance
- Third-party service quality
- Weather or outdoor event conditions
- Availability of payment gateways or external systems
7. Romantic, Emotional, and Personal Outcomes
Host in Sri Lanka may support romantic dates, proposal events, anniversaries,
birthdays, honeymoon moments, and personal celebrations.
No Personal Outcome Guarantee
Ensolanka cannot guarantee relationship success, proposal acceptance,
romantic satisfaction, emotional response, guest reaction, partner approval,
or any personal outcome connected to an event.
The platform helps coordinate the experience, but personal and emotional results depend
on the individuals involved and are outside Ensolanka’s control.
8. Pricing, Availability, and Listing Accuracy
Prices, availability, package inclusions, meal options, add-on services, and venue details
may change based on Host updates, seasonal demand, date, guest count, supplier costs,
currency changes, or operational requirements.
Publicly displayed prices may be estimated, tentative, or subject to final confirmation
unless clearly marked as confirmed.
Ensolanka tries to keep information accurate and clear, but does not guarantee that
every listing will always be complete, current, or error-free.
9. Payments, Deposits, and Refunds
Payment requirements may vary depending on the venue, package, meal plan, add-on service,
event date, Host policy, and booking stage.
Deposits, advance payments, custom event costs, third-party service payments,
payment gateway fees, and preparation costs may be non-refundable or partially refundable.
Refunds are handled according to the Refund & Payment Policy, Host terms, payment gateway rules,
and event-specific arrangements.
10. Third-Party Services
Some events may involve third-party services such as photographers, musicians, florists,
decorators, cake suppliers, transport providers, entertainers, spa or wellness providers,
boat operators, tour providers, or other vendors.
Ensolanka may help coordinate such services, but third-party providers remain responsible
for their own quality, availability, safety, legality, timing, and performance.
Ensolanka is not responsible for third-party failure, delay, cancellation, misconduct,
quality issues, or service defects unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed in writing.
11. Safety, Law, and Venue Compliance
Hosts are responsible for complying with applicable laws, licenses, venue safety requirements,
fire safety, food safety, health rules, liquor licensing, event regulations, employment rules,
insurance needs, and local authority permissions.
Ensolanka may review or moderate listings, but such review does not constitute a legal,
engineering, health, safety, food hygiene, or licensing certification.
Guests should make reasonable personal safety decisions and should inform Ensolanka in advance
of any accessibility, health, dietary, cultural, or special requirements.
12. Food, Allergies, and Health Requirements
Meal Plans and food services are provided by Hosts or relevant food service providers.
Guests are responsible for informing Ensolanka and the Host of allergies, dietary restrictions,
religious food requirements, medical concerns, or special meal needs before confirmation.
Ensolanka cannot guarantee that all dietary or allergy requests can be accommodated.
Hosts remain responsible for food preparation, hygiene, ingredient handling, and food service.
13. Weather, Outdoor Events, and Natural Conditions
Outdoor, beachfront, garden, rooftop, boat, river cruise, lakeside, and open-air events may be
affected by weather, sea conditions, wind, rain, heat, insects, public events, transport delays,
power interruptions, government restrictions, or natural conditions.
Hosts may provide backup options where available, but backup arrangements are not guaranteed
unless specifically confirmed.
Ensolanka is not responsible for weather-related disruption, but may assist with rescheduling
or alternative arrangements where practical.
14. Listing Content, Images, and Marketing Materials
Photos, descriptions, icons, package summaries, venue names, and marketing content are provided
for information and promotional purposes.
Actual appearance, lighting, seating, decoration, privacy level, meal presentation, and setup
may differ depending on date, time, season, guest count, venue condition, weather, supplier availability,
and final confirmed arrangement.
Ensolanka may edit, crop, compress, moderate, or rearrange images and descriptions for platform quality,
but does not guarantee that every image represents the exact setup that will be delivered unless it is
specifically confirmed for the booking.
15. Technology and Platform Availability
Ensolanka aims to keep the platform available and functional, but does not guarantee uninterrupted,
error-free, or secure access at all times.
The platform may be affected by:
- Maintenance
- Server issues
- Internet problems
- Software bugs
- Payment gateway errors
- Email delivery issues
- Security updates
- Third-party service outages
- Browser or device compatibility issues
Ensolanka may update, suspend, restrict, or modify platform features at any time.
16. External Links and Third-Party Websites
The platform may contain links to third-party websites, social media pages, payment gateways,
maps, messaging platforms, or external services.
Ensolanka does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content,
privacy practices, security, availability, pricing, terms, or service quality.
Users should review the policies and terms of third-party websites before using them.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ensolanka shall not be liable for indirect, incidental,
special, emotional, reputational, financial, business, or consequential losses arising from use
of Host in Sri Lanka.
This includes but is not limited to losses related to:
- Event disappointment
- Proposal rejection or relationship outcome
- Host cancellation
- Guest no-show
- Venue service failure
- Food dissatisfaction
- Weather disruption
- Third-party supplier failure
- Payment gateway problems
- Travel delays
- Miscommunication
- Listing inaccuracies
- Lost profits or lost opportunities
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, Ensolanka’s liability shall be limited to the amount
paid directly to Ensolanka for the relevant service, excluding Host charges, third-party costs,
gateway fees, taxes, and external expenses.
18. Updates to This Disclaimer
Ensolanka may update this Disclaimer from time to time to reflect changes in platform features,
business operations, legal requirements, payment methods, Host arrangements, or risk policies.
Updated versions may be published on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the platform after updates means users accept the revised Disclaimer.
